The Camden Climate Change Alliance has been formed by Camden Council and organisations in Camden that are committed to reducing their carbon dioxide emissions and helping to takle climate change.  The Better Climate for Camden team provide advice, guidance and a range of services to help organisations to take steps towards reducing their carbon footprints.

Islington is committed to a borough-wide 40% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2020. The non-domestic sector accounts for more than half of the borough's emissions so working in partnership with businesses in the borough is key to the Council's strategy. Islington's award-winning Climate Change Partnership
Islington Climate Change Partnership has over 200 members working together to maximise CO2 and cost savings. Islington's Archway Low Carbon Zone is one of 10 Zones across London working to reduce CO2 emissions by 20% by 2012. Businesses in the Zone can access a wide range of support and discounts. See Low Carbon Zone.

Lambeth Council is committed to supporting local businesses to become more resource efficient, reduce CO2 emissions and save money. Businesses in Lambeth are able to receive free environmental support, while businesses in the Brixton Low carbon Zone can take advantage of energy efficient technology grants of up to £500. Strategic Partners

Smart Green Business has a number of strategic partners
who support the Smart Green Business project institutionally:

The London BIDs Programme has been running since 2003 and is aimed at supporting the development of new BIDs and with guiding the management and renewal of existing BIDs across London. The Programme supports partnerships through the BID development process, the ballot and managing and measuring performance of an established BID.  This is primarily done through the award winning online BID Toolkit, and also through tailored consultancy support.  The Programme runs a series of networks including: a network of all formal BIDs, an Industrial Estates network, a strategic Advisory Board made up of representative organisations, a local authority BID Co-ordinator's group, and a bi-annual round table meeting for formal BIDs and the GLA group.  In terms of disseminating best practice and policy guidance, the Programme runs this website, a monthly e-bulletin and a variety of events, training and publications.

Business Link in London is a free, impartial business advice service available to anyone starting or running a small or medium sized business in the capital.  Funded by the London Development Agency, it provides practical information and business advice, and can connect you to expert assistance to help businesses to succeed.
